John P. Kee Has New Music Life And Favor & A New label

It’s been awhile since we’ve heard from musician, lyricist, choir director, father, husband John P. Kee, nonetheless the list of his achievements goes on. Now, Pastor John P. Kee will celebrate his inaugural release on his own Kee Music Group label with distribution via Central South Distribution. Kee’s new release, Life And Favor will be available August 28, 2012 and it will mark another milestone for one of Gospel music’s greatest pioneers. You may be familiar with some of his previous hits including: “The Anointing,” “He’ll Welcome Me” “Standing In The Need,”Wash Me,” “Stand” and “We Walk By Faith,” just to name a few.

John P. has numerous awards including: 21 Stellar Gospel Music Awards, a Soul Train Music Award, two Billboard Music Awards, seven Grammy™ Award nominations, a Trailblazer Award from former President Bill Clinton, and The James Cleveland Lifetime Achievement Award from this year’s Stellar Gospel Music Awards.

Many are fed up with the offensive content, and/or negative impact of reality television and others are against the poor quality of programs. No matter what is going on, music is still alive and well. Lexus and TV One are back at it again! Verses & Flow Season Two airs August 20th at 8pm PST/11pm EST, with astounding performances every Monday night on TV One. Congratulations! on Season Two.  Verses & Flow will definitely be something to look forward to. The line up last year consisted of phenomenal poets and music artists including: Luke James, Carl Thomas, Eric Benet, Tamia, Musiq, Chrisette Michele, Elle Varner, Tank & Macy Gray, who hit the stage at Belasco in Downtown LA last June. The venue was packed, the lights were dimmed, and their performances were immaculate! This season of Verses & Flow has been incredible all the same and you will get a chance to see it on TV One.

Many have concluded watching the Olympics. There is still a goal that must be met for many around the world. Hard training and dedication to receive a gold medal is desirable indeed. However, not everyone will make it to the Olympics. Although, there are great runners all across this world and I want to introduce you to one by the name of Mr. Jonathan Eustache.

Mr. Jonathan Eustache Haitian American born in Brooklyn, NY. In 2008 Jonathan Eustache began seeking relief of back pain. He would later learn his pain was related to herniated discs. His doctor’s orders were lose weight or have surgery.  Jonathan started running, changed his diet and began to lose weight.  Jonathan’s preservation to run to avoid surgery worked.  Jonathan’s next challenge would leave him baffled. On January 12, 2010 Jonathan Eustache would become overwhelmed by the tragic news of the earthquake which hit his homeland Hati. He learned that a relative and close friend had passed in this horrific disaster.

I was both upset and saddened when I read the defamatory article written by Kirsten West-Savali and published on TheGrio.com painting black Christians as ignorant for supporting Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day. The piece titled, “Blacks supporting Chick-Fil-A: Is eating chicken as an expression of religious faith taking things too far?” seemed really vicious. So I felt compelled to speak out against it.
