WE CELEBRATE EDUCATOR AND ARTS DIRECTOR MS. TONI

Ms. Toni known and beloved by her students, has reinvented a lost  product that has been deleted out of our educational system.  As we celebrate Women Month, it is our pleasure to bring to you Ms. Toni Saunders.  Ms. Toni Saunders is an educator and arts director that is making headlines and headway with her students; from One World  Middle School which is in my backyard Bronx NYC.  If you read the news  popularity suggests there is doom for our youth. Especially in urban communities, that teachers are burnt out underpaid and don’t care about our children. Well I have news for you it’s a lie. There is a remnant of teachers and professionals in their field that care.   There are pioneers putting in work to ensure that our youth are offered a chance to be great.  We celebrate Ms. Toni Saunders during Women Month for contributions in education and arts. I had the wonderful opportunity to interview her and she has a wealth of information to encourage the hearts of others.

Sometimes, it can really feel like that. One situation, tragedy or trail after another. It’s like you can’t get a footing on what is going on around you or to you. The onset of depression and isolation can grip you and you can feel all alone. I have good news you are not alone.  What I enjoy most about over comers is their ability to Stand and like Peter did when he saw Jesus, Walk out of the storm. For those of us who have been through, victory is now our only option.  Dr. Nycole Lyles Belton new book titled Losing You Is Not An Option! Get Back Up And Fight! will help you navigate through. Deborah Simpkins is a powerful motivational speaker, minister, entrepreneurial and author/publisher.  I was super excited to interview Mrs. Simpkins regarding her new book Ministers with White Collars & Black Secrets: The Truth Exposed. Although, I did not read the book prior to this interview.  Based on the title, the principle remains the same.  One which comes to mind, you will reap what you sow.  I am glad to hear Mrs. Simpkins account regarding her church hurt experience.   An experience many try to keep silent about.  In order for us to heal, sometimes you have to talk about it.
