JeBron Bringing Back Good Music

In my tenure of doing interviews, I am always pleased when I come across such a well groomed artist. JeBron is that artist.  JeBron is fun, smart and most of all musical.  Representing Atlanta but originally from Chi-town his combination is soulful. JeBron is bringing back that good ole finger popping, singing along, grooving and dancing music. He is part of his entity JeBron Music, pumping out influences of Pop, Gospel, Funk, Alternative, R&B and most of all Soul.  JeBron is a prolific songwriter, producer, musician and singer. Despite what is going on in the music industry right now, JeBron has made a lane for himself.  He is currently promoting his album, “TIME OF MY LIFE: FULL CIRCLE.”  I have to admit I have “Celebrate Life” on rotation.  “Celebrate Life” is a timely song for me.  JeBron second single “Beautiful” has received a warm welcome from MTV, VH-1, BET’s 106 and Park to name a few.

JeBron is a songwriter with something to say, you can hear it in his songs “Celebrate Life” and “Beautiful” off his debut album “TIME OF MY LIFE: FULL CIRCLE. With his latest releases it is evident that JeBron intends to keep the legacy and traditions of making good music at the forefront. Notably his music is original.  While talking with Jebron, I realized inspiration is his musical passion. I had the chance to sit with JeBron, to get to know a little bit more about this smooth brother.

Ni: JeBron, let the people know about your new album?

JeBron: The title of the album is “Time of My Life: Full Circle.” It’s the description of where I am right now in my life. I am having the time of my life promoting this album and full circle describes how I have come to myself as man and artist. It has been a full circle.

Ni: JeBron you look like soul, the dress and everything. Tell us how much soul is inside you musically?

JeBron: Well, my mother played everything, which created my foundation. Which is R&B/Soul.

Ni: Listening to what mom played, especially, all the greats and classic R&B, funk and soul. Tell us how listening to the greats developed JeBron?

JeBron: Study the greats and try to become greater. I have had time to sit back and enjoy the journey of reaching my musical destination of creating “Time of My Life: Full Circle.” I am just enjoying things right now.

Ni: That’s good stuff.  You have been doing music professionally for 10 years. However, times have changed and we are in the cyber world. How are you doing with the new music outlets?

JeBron: I am doing great. I have peace of mind. The industry has its issues but I am really into the moments right now. I am not taking anything for granted. I have a good team and if you have a good team behind you, you can go all the way. The new musical outlets are beneficial for an artist right now.

Ni: Tell us about one of your favorite performances?

JeBron: First thing come to mind. Is a place in Atlanta, “Underground” my manager and myself put this show together called “Return of the Brown Sugar.” It was like I was winning a Grammy. I had the right songs and the crowd was right. It was just awesome and I felt like I was on top of the world.

Ni: So, is it safe to say that music is your passion.

JeBron: Yes, I want to revolutionize my generation’s music. Right now there is not a whole lot of substance in our mainstream music. We need to get back to the emotion and essence of love and life. Appreciate life and not take anything for granted. I want to bring that back through my music like the single “Celebrate Life.”  I want people to celebrate and enjoy this journey of life. The song “Beautiful,” I want to uplift women and let them know I appreciate them. Love is the greatest emotion and I want to share that through my music.

Ni: What is your favorite track off the album?

JeBron: Wow! Can I give you two, one is called “All Around” it’s a real emotional song. The other is “Key of Life” not like Stevie Wonder but another one of my favorite songs.

Ni: Well JeBron, it has been a pleasure speaking with you and learning more about who is JeBron. Let us know how we can keep in touch with you.

JeBron: You can hit me on Facebook, Twitter or visit my website www.JEBRONMUSIC.com.

Great, I want to thank Frances Glenn of JeBron Music and Ernest Jackson of MNS Media Group for setting this up. JeBron is definitely a Key Player in music. I am sure we are going to hear a lot more from him. Support the single and visit his website for more information.
