Quincy Jones

“It’s been 15 years since my last studio release, and it is with great pride that I share this Cd with you.  I am aware that some of you will buy it, some of you will stream it, and some of you will steal it–but a quick reminder that a healthy royalty on this album (6 points – twice what any single producer makes) goes directly to The Quincy Jones Foundation”

Quincy Jones just released Soul Bossa Nostra. He worked with Timbaland, who’s the brainchild behind the project. The first single off the Cd, Quincy selected Akon’s rendition of Shuggie Otis’ “Strawberry Letter 23″  Stay tune. Akon does a good job but I still like Brother Johnson’s version. I’m just saying.
