Verses & Flow Second Season with Omari Hardwick

There is an ongoing debate among critics regarding notable television programming. Many are fed up with the offensive content, and/or negative impact of reality television and others are against the poor quality of programs. No matter what is going on, music is still alive and well. Lexus and TV One are back at it again! Verses & Flow Season Two airs August 20th at 8pm PST/11pm EST, with astounding performances every Monday night on TV One. Urbanbuzzmag.com “Where Key Players Speak!” is glad to be a part of the media team to inform you about their second season.

Congratulations! on Season Two.  Verses & Flow will definitely be something to look forward to. The line up last year consisted of phenomenal poets and music artists including: Luke James, Carl Thomas, Eric Benet, Tamia, Musiq, Chrisette Michele, Elle Varner, Tank & Macy Gray, who hit the stage at Belasco in Downtown LA last June. The venue was packed, the lights were dimmed, and their performances were immaculate! This season of Verses & Flow has been incredible all the same and you will get a chance to see it on TV One.

The line up consists of phenomenal poets, including actor, poet and producer Omari Hardwick. This August 20th 2012, Omari Hardwick will debut as host of Season Two’s Verses & Flow, a unique series created to bring audiences the freshest up and coming talent in spoken word and music. Omari Hardwick can be seen in the highly anticipated film Sparkle and you’ve seen him in The A-Team, The Guardian, Beauty Shop, Gridiron Gang, Miracle At St. Anna and For Colored Girls, opposite Janet Jackson.

Born “Omari Latif Hardwick,” he grew up in Decatur, Georgia, where sports were his world; yet early on, Hardwick knew he had a passion for the arts. As a teenager, he was writing poetry on a regular basis, a love he would carry with him into adulthood. He has written more than 4,000 poems.

When not acting, Hardwick is actively involved in a variety of charities, including the Jason Taylor Foundation, which focuses on youth education and development and houses the Omari Hardwick BluApple Poetry Corner. Hardwick is a founding member of Plan B Inc. Theater Group, co-founder of Los Angeles Actor’s Lounge, and has a production company, Bravelife. So let’s join Omari Hardwick a real Key Player as he demonstrates some of his poetic skills. Tune in and let us know what you think email us at Urbanbuzzusa@aol.com. Urbanbuzzmag.com would like to thank our Los Angeles family for attending this event; Chris and Anita Pringle of CM3.
