Grief, Death & Victory
Sarah Schieber, author, speaker, singer and songwriter, released her new book A Journey Called Grief: A Month-by-Month Reference for Those Who Grieve through loss of a loved one. The book is based on Sarah’s husband, Chad Schieber, a police officer, who died while running a Chicago Marathon with his wife. He was 35 years old with no known health issues. His death changed the trajectory of Sarah Schieber’s life instantly. She became a widow and single mother of three children, ages 11, 9 and 6. Her book is a firsthand account of how Sarah dealt with the impact of her husband’s death. There is no real grief format and every process is different. In our interview you are going to hear two Christian women spill the tea on our experience and how we trusted the Holy Spirit of God in a time of trouble. Sarah Schieber’s process of journaling her emotions served as a way of solace.
