Kingdom Music From PJ & Nem
Pastor Jason Palmer, singer-songwriter, producer, author and apostle, aka PJ the artist, has dedicated his life to bettering himself, his family, friends, the community, and the kingdom of God by simply obeying whatever God instructs him to do. Music has been the fabric of his life. As a youth, he learned how to play multiple instruments. Growing up in the church, PJ was in the youth choir, became choir director and began writing and arranging songs. He is known for launching a Christian rock band under JP & Seasons. JP & Seasons, an award-winning and multi-award-nominated band, was recognized by Verizon and McDonald’s. With success in music and traveling the world. He heard the Lord call him to launch a church, where he is the lead pastor of Goodness & Mercy Church in Detroit. Pastor Jason Palmer is the author of four books. His top sellers are God Help Me To Forgive and Renewing Your Mind Daily. After taking time off from music to build Goodness & Mercy Church, PJ has returned to music this year with a new name, JP & Nem (Nem is a vernacular term). The first single of his latest project, Just Like FIYAH is climbing the music charts. Pastor Jason Palmer is passionate about people, and understands his purpose, to use God’s Word and music to reach the masses. His new project is a call for unity not only in the body of Christ but throughout the world.
During our interview, PJ released the name of his album project an exclusive drop. He also released the name of his second single off the album Child of God, which will drop on May 24th. This album is a clarion call to those who have ears to hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying. The album is filled with a church sound example, Just Like Fiyah, to a rollerskating bounce song like Child of God. No matter the groove or praise, the message is the same. It is time for believers to take their faith position seriously. This is not the time to grow weary in these days of uncertainty. As believers, we are blessed people. Therefore, let’s not conform to this world system but promote God’s system of love and peace. PJ lives in Detroit.
