Daniel Dover is an artist extraordinaire. He has established a career built on ingenuity, versatility, and his relentless attitude to bringing vision to life. With his wit and humor and imagination, he created his first animation show, Bernard & Ralph. His gifts for art include painting, technical prowess for gaming, painting and street art. He has been compared to many famous street and visual artists, like Banksy, Ron English, Tristan Eaton, and Basquiat. Dover’s creative journey, launched in his hometown of Tel Aviv. After traveling all around the world, he took a residence in New York City. Daniel Dover masterfully transformed Tel-Aviv City Hall’s escalators into a warm welcome for visitors. Something never done before by an artist. Dover has the ability to see something in his mind and make it beautiful. I had a chance to speak with Daniel Dover about his passion for art. Daniel Dover’s cartoon series is bright, fun, dark and provoking. His ability to present to an audience his imagination and thoughts in various art mediums, demonstrates his true talent. Dover is a master of creating a visually sharp statement that projects a fragile truth about our complex human and social systems. Although each show deals with sensitive topics, such as depression, social isolation, and other mental issues, its humorous tone and quirky characters make these themes approachable for the viewer.
