Redefining Vision, Power, and Possibility

Goddest Jenkins is a dynamic force in advocacy, leadership, and empowerment, an unstoppable woman whose life story dismantles every limitation society attempts to impose. A proud survivor, community leader, and fierce champion for diversity and inclusion, she is rewriting the narrative of what’s possible beyond physical sight, generational trauma, and systemic barriers.  Her journey begins in an environment marked by gang involvement and the harsh realities of mass incarceration. Her mother, father, and both brothers were sentenced to life in prison, her brothers receiving those sentences as juveniles. The pain deepened when she tragically lost her mother and one brother while they were still incarcerated. Instead of allowing grief to harden her, Goddest transformed it into purpose. In their memory, she committed her life to breaking cycles, empowering youth, and helping families avoid the devastating paths that shaped her own childhood. Through global collaboration with mentors and organizations, she works tirelessly to prevent others from experiencing the heartbreak she endured.  In 2008, her life took another dramatic turn. A catastrophic five car collision left her in a coma for seven months and ultimately legally blind. But even this did not stop her. Emerging from the trauma with renewed clarity, she embraced a mantra that has become her life’s compass: It took losing my physical sight to gain true vision.   Her faith transformed adversity into assignment, and assignment into impact.

Goddest Jenkins’ accomplishments reflect her resilience and her refusal to be defined by circumstance. In 2022, she made history by winning the Miss Blind Diva Empowerment Pageant, becoming a national symbol of strength, beauty, and empowerment beyond sight. One year later, she shattered another barrier as the first legally blind woman to serve as an official pageant director, leading the Miss Blind Diva Empowerment Pageant with compassion, innovation, and bold leadership.  Her influence continued to rise. In 2023, she earned the title Miss Black America Elegant Diva, becoming the first legally blind African American woman to receive the honor. In 2024, she was crowned Miss Corporate America, further cementing her place as a trailblazer across industries.  But Goddest’s vision extends far beyond pageantry.  She made history again as the first legally blind woman to launch a fashion line, unveiling Mystique Fashions, an inclusive brand designed for the visually impaired and legally blind community.  Through tactile rhinestone braille quotes, her clothing allows fashion to be both seen and felt, merging style with accessibility in a groundbreaking way.  Her academic achievements are equally remarkable. Goddest holds two master’s degrees, one in Visual Rehabilitation from the University of Massachusetts and another in Social Work (Mental Health Specialization) from Nova Southeastern University.  Her global footprint expanded in 2023 when she was appointed U.S. Ambassador for the Blind and Visually Impaired by the United Nations, bringing humanitarian aid and accessible education to communities in Cameroon, Liberia, and Uganda.

She is also the founder of Queens Raising Queens Inc., a nonprofit empowering women of all ages to rise boldly in their purpose.  As a domestic?violence survivor and mental?health advocate, Goddest Jenkins continues to prove that faith, even the size of a mustard seed, can move mountains. Her life stands as a testament that limitations are not barriers; they are stepping stones to greatness.  Goddest Jenkins is not simply a woman who survived. She is a woman who transformed.  A woman who builds.  A woman who leads.  And a woman who reminds the world that true vision has nothing to do with sight, it has everything to do with purpose.  Welcome our newest KeyPlayer Mrs. Goddest Jenkins.  If you would like to connect email her at QueensRaisingQueensInc25@gmail.com and all social media.
