Sonya McGuire was raised by the late Pastor Harold and Naomi McGuire in Lithonia, Georgia. In her early beginnings she was the musical director at her father’s church. Sonya grew up to enjoy singing, acting, and playing instruments. When she is not singing. Sonya McGuire shares her gifts at workshops, conferences and music seminars. She is known for changing the atmosphere when she sings. Although Sonya has an extensive resume, she remains humble and grounded. Writing music is one of her true joys.
