Kingdom Music Is For Everyone

Digital Native (Supa Dave West) is an accomplished record producer and virtuoso drummer with a rugged, melodic and neck breaking sound that has offered a fresh canvas to a number of mainstream and underground artists throughout the years. His musical journey started at a young age in the church. His Pentecostal Holiness upbringing exposed him to music and arrangement. His unique approach and gift has allowed him to travel around the world as a tour drummer for notable artists in the music industry.  Digital Native produced a single titled, Goodness Praise Break featuring Pastor Jason Hendrickson for the Mirror Ball Recordings and B.D.M. Music Group collaboration.  The single reached #2 on the legendary Traxsource.com Soulful House chart, where it continued to chart for over eight weeks straight.  Top House and Dance Music DJs listed Goodness Praise Break as a song that they included in their sets.  Goodness Praise Break, is considered a Gospel House track which essentially expresses spiritual lyrics predominantly under the Christian genre.  Gospel House music is a Christian alternative to dance music.  Gospel House is one of my favorite Christian genres of music. Digital Native full album will be released later this year.

GOOD MORNING LOVE

There are layers to award-winning soul singer, songwriter and producer Teri Tobin.  Each layer reveals a lusher depth, a more meaningful experience, an expressive passion and an abiding generosity, in Tobin’s music and womanhood.  All of who Tobin is and what she’s lived through comes through her testimonial of song.  For example, Good Morning Love is a song full of emotions and personal love notes.  Good Morning Love is not just another love song.  It is a song of endearment, for you, me and the love hidden inside of us. Tobin admits she was born with a love jones, being her birthday is on Valentine’s Day.   Therefore, the chances of Tobin singing a love song, healing message and promoting self-love and acceptance, she received it honestly.  To put things in perspective.  Teri Tobin performed background work with Joe, Mica Paris, Chico Debarge and Chante Moore.   Moving from background to center stage has not been an easy feat.

New EP Fearless (Fear-Less)

Samar Newsome is a soulful vocalist, fusion keyboardist, and diverse producer.  Studying formally at Westminster Choir College and growing up with local recording artists and church musicians in the city of Newark, NJ. Samar was guided musically under diverse tutelage.  He served as the music director at Christian Cultural Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he has worked closely with gospel recording artists like Bebe Winans, Israel Houghton and Darwin Hobbs.  Samar is currently working on his new EP, Fearless, featuring his debut single I Feel Good, which is quickly moving up the radio charts. Many of us have been reeling in our uncertain economy, with uncertainty if the vaccine protects against the new strain COVID threats. We should all feel grateful that we are still here to give thanks.  Samar Newsome has worked with a wide variety of artists.  I Feel Good was created to remind us not to falter in our faith.  A friendly reminder of how blessed we truly are as believers.

Pastor David Wright is the third of five sons of Gospel legend Rev. Timothy Wright and Evangelist Betty Wright. Pastor David Wright began his ministry at the tender age of 16.  He began playing the organ with no classical training or conventional lessons, it came to him by way of the  anointing of God, after a 3-day shut-in with prayer.  Many have enjoyed his musical projects such as Clap Your Hands, I Will Live, Our God Reigns, Mighty Long Way, Through It All, God Has Been So Good and now we can enjoy his new project Miracles.  Pastor David Wright is an accomplished musician, producer, songwriter and choir director. Paying it forward, he teaches musician workshops around the country for the next generation.  Pastor Wright’s Godfather Records is an established gospel music record label.  The label was envisioned by The Godfather of Gospel, Rev. Their new project Peep The Theory is out.  Peep The Theory is a gritty hip-hop classic with that boom bap and head nod flow. Ethan Kent is a musician, songwriter, producer and singer.  He enjoys sharing what’s on his heart. Most of us have been emotionally drained coping with this global pandemic. However, it is in the midst of trouble we can lament for God to show up.  It is in that moment our cries causes us to triumphant and be victorious. Ethan Kent released a new single titled God Is Good. There are few guarantees in life but God Is Good is one you can count on.  God Is God is Ethan turning tragedy into a triumph of faith.  As Christians we understand that in the midst of a storm, Jesus shows up and can command peace. His song God Is Good was a response to his mother being hospitalized and due to the pandemic he was not able to visit.  He wrote God Is Good and had the nurses play it to comfort his mother. Shania Brown a 14-year-old actress, model and entrepreneur will launch her new film Why Me in 2020. Written by momager Earlena Brown and Shania Brown, the film is in honor of a friend.  Shania Brown plays a teenager (Crystal) who struggles with being bipolar. The storyline is a result of Shania witnessing a classmate being bullied and made fun of.  After finding out there were pending issues, she wanted to create mental illness awareness, with emphasis on her age group. While others mocked and laughed, Shania took action by alerting her mom and reporting the matter to her principal. Making sure her friend received the help needed. Shania is not new to acting, she has been in a few productions to date. I am sure we are about to see much more of Shania Brown. (photo by Greg Moore).
