Laurence Fishburne Malcolm X Audible

Laurence Fishburne is the voice of Malcolm X  autobiography. With the blessing of Malcolm X’s daughter Assata Shakur, Laurence Fishburne completes a longstanding request to read Malcolm X.  I couldn’t think of a better match.  Audible is the first to release the Alex Haley first ever unabridged audiobook recordingLaurence is honored to bring their experience to life through an audio version. While there are many stories yet told about many of our African-American legends, we are glad to add Malcolm X.  There is no other experience and transformation known to us like the one of Malcolm X.  His vision, passion and love for his community was epic.

New Music By Durty Flow

Durty Flow is an accomplished hip-hop writer and artist.  He recently released his new EP project titled Mood Swings, featuring the single Manic Depressive now on digital outlets.  The EP takes you through emotional ebbs and flows associated with mood swings of an unbalanced mind.  Durty Flow’s single Manic Depressive brings awareness to this subject and a reminder of how important good healthcare, prescription copays and access to a private doctor are.  However, not everyone can afford good healthcare and surely not a private doctor.  During this time of COVID19,  I am super excited that Durty Flow decided to shed some light on this matter, with his new project Mood Swings. Manic Depressive is a diagnosis given to people who have mood swings.  When left untreated it can lead to bizarre behaviors.  The video Manic Depressive is graphic and to the point.  Durty Flow draws on his innate strengths and talents to depict this conflict.

COMING SOON WHY ME?

Shania Brown a 14-year-old actress, model and entrepreneur will launch her new film Why Me in 2020. Written by momager Earlena Brown and Shania Brown, the film is in honor of a friend.  Shania Brown plays a teenager (Crystal) who struggles with being bipolar. The storyline is a result of Shania witnessing a classmate being bullied and made fun of.  After finding out there were pending issues, she wanted to create mental illness awareness, with emphasis on her age group. While others mocked and laughed, Shania took action by alerting her mom and reporting the matter to her principal. Making sure her friend received the help needed. Shania is not new to acting, she has been in a few productions to date. I am sure we are about to see much more of Shania Brown. (photo by Greg Moore).
