Playwright: Nial Martin

Nial Martin is an award winning producer, playwright, director, author, and respected community advocate with more than 25 years of experience in the performing arts industry.  As the Founder, President, and CEO of No Jive Productions, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Martin has dedicated his career to empowering diverse communities through arts, mentorship, education, and entertainment.  His work reflects a deep commitment to healing, truth telling, and strengthening families through powerful storytelling.  Currently, Martin’s acclaimed stage play A Father’s Love is on tour, captivating audiences across the country. The production stars Terrell Carter (Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black), Reverend Jamie Knight (Gospel Artist), and David Tolliver (Men at Large).  Written and produced by Martin, A Father’s Love explores the complexities of family relationships, mental health, forgiveness, identity, and the lifelong impact of a parent’s love or absence on a child’s development.  But this production is more than entertainment.  It comes from an authentic place.  During life’s most difficult seasons, people often feel isolated in their pain.  A Father’s Love creates a space where audiences can see themselves, their families, struggles, and triumphs reflected on stage.  Viewers may laugh, cry, reflect, and frequently leave the theater ready to have conversations they have avoided for years.  The play has become a catalyst for healing, reconciliation, and renewed understanding within families and creates self awareness.  The next tour stop is scheduled for August 29, 2026 at 7:30 PM at the Julius Littman Performing Arts Theater, located at 17011 NE 19th Avenue, North Miami Beach, FL 33162.  Audiences are encouraged to secure their tickets early for this transformative experience.

WE CELEBRATE EDUCATOR AND ARTS DIRECTOR MS. TONI

Ms. Toni known and beloved by her students, has reinvented a lost  product that has been deleted out of our educational system.  As we celebrate Women Month, it is our pleasure to bring to you Ms. Toni Saunders.  Ms. Toni Saunders is an educator and arts director that is making headlines and headway with her students; from One World  Middle School which is in my backyard Bronx NYC.  If you read the news  popularity suggests there is doom for our youth. Especially in urban communities, that teachers are burnt out underpaid and don’t care about our children. Well I have news for you it’s a lie. There is a remnant of teachers and professionals in their field that care.   There are pioneers putting in work to ensure that our youth are offered a chance to be great.  We celebrate Ms. Toni Saunders during Women Month for contributions in education and arts. I had the wonderful opportunity to interview her and she has a wealth of information to encourage the hearts of others.
