Javon Inman singer and songwriter, released his latest single Thank You, now available on digital outlets. Javon Inman is not new to our music scene, his previous album Heart of a Worshiper earned him 13 music awards. With his success, Javon launched his label titled Liberty Music LLC with his wife.  Before starting his label, he sung background for a few prominent recording artist and produced several independent projects.  He is a prolific composer whose diverse sound has no end.  Javon Inman is a name you will continue to hear. His music is a true representation of his heart and you will hear it when you listen to his single Thank You.  Thank You beat is underlined with Javon’s production groove, at the helm of his message of victory and gratitude.

Urbanbuzzmag.com would like you to help us celebrate one of New York City’s own playwright figures on the rise Charles CurtisCharles Curtis is a playwright, director, actor, singer, professional voice and performance coach.  He is currently at the Davenport Theatre, 354 W 45th St, New York, NY 10036, Saturdays at 3pm promoting his new project, Strings.   Strings is a controversial play with meat to chew on, inspired by current events regarding black men.  Charles Curtis play Strings  is a view into the tumultuous life of a young African American man set to be executed.  The story line is designed to reach all to search your hearts regarding your love for one another.  Strings provokes you to delve inward and realize we are not that different.  When life shows up at your door step how will you respond.  Strings is based on a policing system in desperate need for change to protect not kill. Surprisingly, the Lawyer in this play is up for a real trial himself. I had the great opportunity to speak with Charles Curtis regarding his play Strings and hear his personal response of being a black man in America today.

A.M.X’s New Single “We Can Do Whatever”

Andre Mieux aka A.M.X. has just released his new mixtape pushing a hot single,  “We Can Do Whatever.” The single has elements of rap, pop and house, to show off his ability to fuse music together for that sound needed to get listeners attention and on the dance floor.  A.M.X. is a classically trained pianist, musicianship rests deep within the core of his heart.   The West Covina, CA native has been writing, singing and dancing since he was 8 years old. By the age of 12, he was producing music with Grammy Award winning artist, Ricky Lawson of the Yellowjackets. A.M.X.’s musical gift has indeed forged a litany of accomplishments.

Taking advantage of the digital age, A.M.X.’s recent mixtape Broken Halo, downloaded over 90,000 times on Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes. He has teamed up with Grammy Award nominated production duo Da Internz, Sean Brown, Shorty Mack and Bizzy Bone from Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, a ways off from his classical roots but a true testament of his musical ability to adapt to change.
