MAKING THE CUT

Wyatt G. Maker is an actor, comedian, filmmaker and cinematographer.  Known for creating entertainment that will capture you emotionally, inform and entertain. Wyatt knew at an early age that filmmaking and acting were in his cards. He would watch films on repeat and looked forward to going to the movies with his dad.  Wyatt would take note on how actors performed, the storyline and all the bells and whistles of how the film looked and felt. He set out to attend LaGuardia High School of Music & Arts in New York which specializes in teaching visual and performing arts.  There he took part in school plays and even wrote a few. He joined a youth media program where he was able to branch out and create his first documentary Holding Up about gun violence and what it does to the family.  Which was entered into the Tribeca Film Festival Wyatt G. Maker has gone on to work on various sets as a cinematographer for example ABC For Life, NBC Saturday Night Live and Tom and Jerry Animation and still manages to get his acting and comedy in. They are now signed and charting on billboard digital charts, with a new single Any Day Now.  We need a song like Any Day Now to remind ourselves that God will and can show up regarding this pandemic situation. Marcus Jordan has been a musical prodigy since 7 years old.  Marcus is a pastor’s kid but going to church and singing did not bother him one bit.  As he pursued his interest in music, he performed with groups.  Enhancing his skills in singing, songwriting and playing keyboard. Quickly becoming known throughout Houston as one of the most sought after keyboard players. Marcus Jordan began playing for various churches and opportunity knocked.  Music World Entertainment hired him as a house band keyboard player.  That’s when you can say, your gifts will make room for you.  I know you wanna say what? Playing for the world.  NOPE just being in the world and working as a musician, playing for artists such as Solange Knowles, IB3, Angie Stone, Brian Courtney Wilson, Kurt Carr, Juanita Bynum and Trinitee 5:7. Tiffany “Miz Tiffany” Coleman-McGee is one of God’s peculiar daughters. Coined Gospel Rapper Miz Tiffany, she hails out of Mississippi creating her path in mainstream media. Miz Tiffany’s gifts and talents span the creative wheel as an international recording artist, model, actress, motivational speaker, author, radio personality and television show producer/host. Obviously the Lord has poured out upon her.  Miz Tiffany’s accomplishments consist of; her first children’s book entitled Hippos Downtown! And her EP I Ain’t Preaching to the Choir, featuring her two single releases I’m Souled and titled track I Ain’t Preaching to the Choir. Although Miz Tiffany has accumulated many accolades, she bid all the Glory to Jesus Christ in her life.  Marching on the charts as one of the best Christian female gospel rapper, it is not an easy feat even in 2020.  Stemming from Mississippi one of the bible belts, where women in ministry are sometimes limited to express their gifts,  Miz Tiffany cannot be easily swayed from her God-given assignment.  Her talent speaks for itself.  She recently performed solo for an award show during the pandemic, a testament to her talents, skills and abilities. Miz Tiffany is blazing a trail of success for herself and her words of wisdom will bless you during our interview.

Businessmen Paul Roberson, Ainsworth (Tony) Robinson and Ahmed (AJ) Jerome (photo L-R) have launched a Black-owned and operated franchise, in the Bedford-Stuyvesant community.  SoBol Bed-Stuy, is located at 531 Nostrand Avenue.  It is the first Acai (pronounced ah-sah-EE) Bowl Cafe in Brooklyn.  The trio has plans to open a second franchise location in another area of Brooklyn as well. Paul Roberson is one of the co-founders who sat with me to discuss this amazing success story, on how three black men have come together to create something special for Bed-Stuy.  I am confident that if you have any doubts about opening a business or launching a project during this nation’s pandemic, you must listen to the interview. She exhibited panic attacks, hallucinations and voices.  With the assistance of mental health physicians and her faith-based community. Sharmee Pratt has overcome the stigma, shame and symptoms of schizophrenia. Mental Health is very important to support a balanced life.  Covid-19 pandemic has challenged the best of us to keep hope alive.  Since March 2020 there has been an increase in drug overdose, domestic violence, child abuse and suicide. To be healed and made whole, Sharmee Pratt put her trust in God and His Word.  Sharmee Pratt is celebrating her victory by sharing tools and principles she learned during her recovery process.
